DIY Papaya Seed Scrub

Using papaya seeds are an excellent remedy to treat wrinkles on the face. It is an anti=aging ingredient which helps to reduce the fine lines and wrinkles appearing on the skin. Due to its quality, papaya seeds are best to be used by women at their 30's.

Papaya seeds make an excellent natural scrub, especially for those suffering from body acne or very dull skin. The skins have age-fighting, skin-brightening benefits as well, so feel free to add some papaya skin/peel to the recipe as well.

Instead of scooping them into the trash, just scoop them straight into a blender!

1/2 cup of papaya seeds
3-4 tsp of papaya fruit (just scrape extra flesh when you remove the seeds)
2 tbsp avocado oil
2" piece of papaya peel (optional, but peel also has lots of anti-aging fruit acids!)

Blend mixture to grind seeds and make a puree.
Massage gently onto skin to exfoliate, leave on 10-15 minutes, and rinse clean.

The acidity in papaya can irritate sensitive skin if left for too long, so do a patch test if you have any concerns.
You can add 1 teaspoon of bentonite clay to add density to your scrub, if you want a more paste-like application.
